Applied Biomedical Systems BV (ABS) explores, develops and markets health care products in present under-diagnosed areas. ABS expertise in this field is based on more then 60 years of experience in the medical device area, especially within the cardiovascular, neurological and the diabetic area. ABS products and services aim at easy accessible, reliable and cost effective estimation of health risks, difficult to detect with current available methods. The goal of ABS is to fulfill un- and under-met clinical needs with our diagnostic platform technology.















Contract Research

Applied Biomedical Systems moves ideas to products by developing concepts and demonstrating technical, clinical and business feasibility. ABS will act as a liaison between the clinical application domain and the technical field by translating clinical unmet need into concepts that are further detailed into technical specifications for our development partners. ABS has long-standing experience in the medical device field that provides a solid foundation for a broad range of consultancy services to our customers ABS collaborates with research institutes, locally, nationally and worldwide. Our research skills are utilized by companies who access our expertise in co-development partnerships and contract research projects. We are tightly networked enabling market analyses, requirements definition, and early stage experimental and clinical trials to support regulatory, intellectual property, due diligence and investment goals.


Diagnostic Products

Today, diagnostic tools to accommodate early detection of chronic diseases are limited. ABS will aim at marketing of a new generation of devices to accommodate specific needs for early detection of chronic diseases in a large populations. These devices will be low cost to allow broad and long-time use, simple and effective enabling autonomous use by everybody and attractive, stimulating compliance for use every day. Moreover, these devices will be very specific detecting only what is necessary, no more no less. Chronic diseases that will be first targeted include heart disease and diabetes.
